Reports to:
Payroll Supervisor and Director of Payroll Services
Position
Description:
Process payroll for multiple worksites and provide clients with a superior level of customer service in a high volume environment.
Roles &
Responsibilities:
- Receive and Review client Payroll Data
- Enter/Update payroll data in system for multiple client companies
- Process Payroll & Reports
- Possess knowledge and stay current on Payroll Compliance
- Liaise with Support personnel to ensure Payroll is shipped to clients timely
- Customer Service
- Assist Client Company Owners/Managers with any payroll related questions
- Assist employees with questions/problems as it may relate to their pay
- Must be knowledgeable and personable
- Enter/Update employee data in payroll system
- Employee information (i.e. names, addresses, job titles, etc)
- Time Off Accruals (i.e. vacation pay, sick pay, personal pay, etc.)
- Calculate Garnishments
- Receive and Review Termination Reports
- Enter/Update client data in payroll system
- Enter Client Information including Workers Comp Codes and processes
- Enter Client Time Off Accruals
- Create Processing Schedules
Experience:
- At least 2 years prior work experience with:
- Payroll Service Company OR
- Have processed payroll in a large company environment with 500 employees or more.
- CPP’s and FPC’s will be strongly considered.
Specific Skills Needed:
- Strong computer skills however will train on our Payroll System
- Strong oral and written communication skills in support of Customer Service
- Applicant must have strong understanding of Payroll Regulations
